BLUSAFE Global Consumer Warranty Policy

(Applicable to end consumers in the United States, EU, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand)

At Blusafe Solutions, we build products to last. This Warranty Policy outlines the coverage for our smart security devices and hardware. This policy is provided by BLUSAFE SOLUTIONS US LLC and its local authorized entities.

1. Warranty Coverage & Period

We warrant that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the periods listed below. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase (valid proof of purchase required).

Note: If a valid proof of purchase cannot be provided, the warranty period will default to 90 days from the product's manufacturing date.

2. Warranty Benefits

If a defect arises within the warranty period, and you have followed the official installation and maintenance guidelines, Blusafe will, at its sole discretion:

  1. Repair the defective product using new or refurbished parts;
  2. Replace the product with a new or refurbished unit of equivalent quality; or
  3. Refund the actual purchase price if repair or replacement is not feasible.

3. Warranty Exclusions (What is NOT Covered)

This warranty does not cover damage or functional abnormalities caused by:

  • Improper Use: Failure to follow the official User Manual or Installation Guide.
  • Unauthorized Modification: Disassembly, modification, or repair performed by non-authorized personnel.
  • Third-Party Accessories: Damage caused by using non-official batteries, chargers, or consumables.
  • Physical Damage: Misuse, negligence, dropping, impact, or intentional damage.
  • Environmental Factors: Fire, flood, earthquake, extreme temperatures, humidity, or chemical corrosion.
  • Consumables: Normal battery depletion, leakage, or swelling resulting from regular use.
  • Normal Wear & Tear: Scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage that does not affect core product functionality.
  • Biometric Limitations: Recognition failure due to wet fingers, oily fingers, or worn fingerprints (inherent limitations of current technology).

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you encounter an issue after our standard 90-day return window, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact Support

Email support@blusafesolutions.com within 1 month of discovering the defect. Please include:

  • Valid proof of purchase (Order Number and Date).
  • Product Model and Serial Number (SN).
  • A detailed description of the defect.
  • Clear photos or a short video demonstrating the issue.

Step 2: Review & RMA

We will review your claim within 5 business days. If approved, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number and specific return instructions.

Step 3: Return the Product

Ship the defective product to the designated address within 7 business days of receiving the RMA number.
Important: Return shipping costs to our facility are the responsibility of the consumer.

Step 4: Inspection & Resolution

We will complete the inspection within 10 business days of receipt.

  • Valid Claim: We will repair or replace the unit and cover the cost of return shipping back to you.
  • Invalid Claim: If no defect is found or the issue falls under excluded circumstances, the product will be returned in its original condition, and inspection/shipping fees may apply.

5. Important Disclaimers

  • Statutory Rights: This warranty is an express guarantee provided by Blusafe and does not exclude or limit your statutory rights under local consumer protection laws (e.g., EU Consumer Rights Directive, Australian Consumer Law).
  • Third-Party Parts: Components manufactured by third parties are covered by their original manufacturers’ warranties.
  • Updates: Blusafe reserves the right to update product specifications and warranty policies without prior notice. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply.
  • Commercial Use: This policy applies solely to personal/residential use. B2B transactions and commercial projects are subject to separate commercial warranty terms.
